RECOUP Neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation:
Working as a Senior Consultant Physiotherapist and Senior Manager- Academics in RECOUP from 30th July 2006 to Present. RECOUP is a one of it’s kind Neuromusculoskeletal Rehabilitation Centre specialising in the prevention, assessment, treatment and research of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), other Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD), and Childhood Disabilities through an Interdisciplinary approach. The Health and Safety Executive and the Department of Health (Govt of UK) have recognised RECOUP as the world best centre for RSI treatment. RECOUP is one of the world's largest Ergonomics Consultancies.
Activities
1. In RECOUP training and guiding Physiotherapists and other rehabilitation proffessionals in its own Internationally acclaimed Treatment Approach for MSD: SHARAN'S Protocol (Skilled Hands-on Approach for Release of myofascia, Neural and Soft-tissue mobilisation), Ergonomic Workplace Analysis (EWA) and SEMLARASS (Single Event Multilevel Lever Arm Restoration and Anti- Spasticity Surgery) post operative rehabilitation for cerebral palsy.
2. Gait analysis using Mini sun IDEEA (Intelligent Device for Energy Expenditure & activities) in patients with developmental disabilities.
3. Electromyography using The Neuro Trac EMG Biofeedback machine.
4. Ergonomic Workplace Analysis using Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), The Strain Index, Methods for assessing back injury risks: Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation, Snook tables, Measurement of work effort and fatigue: Borg Ratings of Perceived Exertion scale, Muscle Fatigue Assessment method, The Occupational Repetitive Action (OCRA) Methods: OCRA Index and OCRA Checklist, Assessment of Exposure to Manual Patient Handling in Hospital Wards: MAPO Index (Movement and Assistance of Hospital Patients) and ergonomic awareness for IT companies and IT professionals.
5. Assessment and Treatment of patients with Repetitive Strain Injury, Musculoskeletal Disorders and Cerebral Palsy in RECOUP physiotherapy department.
6. Conducting and guiding over 50 cutting edge research projects are on at RECOUP on MSD, Ergonomics and Cerebral Palsy, including world's largest study of Computer Related RSI covering 35,000 subjects (2001-09).
Achievements
1. 3. Done more than 100 gait analysis using Mini sun IDEEA and The Neuro Trac EMG Biofeedback.
4. Rehabilitated more than 600 Post-SEMLARASS children.
5. Treated more than 7000 RSI & other Neuromusculoskeletal disorder patients from different countries from the world
6. Co- inventor DEEPAK SHARAN'S MSD Severity Scale with Dr. Deepak Sharan.
7. Co-developer of Internationally acclaimed Treatment Approach for MSD: SHARAN'S Protocol (Skilled Hands-on Approach for Release of myofascia, Neural and Soft-tissue mobilisation) with Dr. Deepak Sharan and other experts from RECOUP.
8. Course Coordinator and Faculty of India’s first Masters Level Online Ergonomics Course launching in 2010 conducted by VELS University, Chennai (India).

Mr. Ajeesh P S was as a faculty of Preconference Workshop on Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorders with Dr. Deepak Sharan, Dr. AK Ganguli and Dr. Dhurjati Majumdar in HWWE 2009, International Conference on Ergonomics 17- 19 December, CALCUTTA.Topics were Introduction and prevalence of WRMSD's in India, Assessment of worker with MSD's and Prognosis of MSD's.

Activities
1. Worked as ergonomic consultant for many IT companies like AMD India Engineering Pvt Ltd Bangalore, Quintiles Bangalore, Bain & Company Delhi, Wipro Bangalore & Pune etc.
2. Done consultation, diagnosis and treatment for various WRMD’s in the onsite clinics in these IT companies
3. Computer workstation evaluation and recommendations for correcting the ergonomic risk factors.
4. Ergonomic awareness classes for the employees
Hemophilia Society- Bangalore Chapter, Bangalore, India.
Worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist in HEMOPHILIA SOCIETY- BANGALORE CHAPTER, Bangalore Mahavir Jain Hospital Building, Millers Road, Vasantha Nagar, Bangalore-560052, India from 13 January 2006 to 29th July 2006.
